The Rostocker Boulevard is with its around 750m, one of the longest shopping miles in the north of the Federal Republic.

It is sectioned into two parts, which are connected by the Universitätsplatz.

The western part entices you to shop in the Kröpeliner Tor Centre or in the many smaller or slightly bigger shops as well as the well known chains and branches like P&C or C&A.

In good weather, the outdoor area of the KTC is ideal for a view onto the Kröpeliner Gate, the ramparts or the newly created well with the dancing sisters while enjoying a cup of coffee.

In the middle of the Boulevard, at the Universitätsplatz, one has a good view onto the university building, the Boulevard in western direction towards the Kröpeliner Gate, the Boulevard in eastern direction and along the Breite Straße as an extension of the shopping mile in northern direction.

Passers-by love to spend time at the well joie de vivre, while enjoying an ice cream and children play with the water fountain in summer.

The eastern part is being dominated by smaller shops, law firms, creative offices and service providers. It ends at the Neue Markt with a view onto the town hall.
