The Rose Garden is another green oasis near the Boulevard. It stretches for around 300m in eastern direction starting from the eastern end of the ramparts to the Steinstraße. In the centre of the garden is a round fountain situated.

The Rose Garden was designed after a concept by the garden architect J. Wilcken around 1860.
